Doyle Elected to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island Board of Trustees

Alan DoylePROVIDENCE, R.I. – Alan J. Doyle of Barrington, principal of Larew, Doyle & Associates, has been elected to the board of trustees of Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, the largest hospice in the state and a leader in hospice and palliative care for more than three decades.

Board chairman Jack Treanor, Washington Trust Company president and COO, was effusive in his praise of Doyle’s business acumen and accomplishments. “Continuing to offer the most comprehensive hospice services to our patients and their families throughout Rhode Island requires a wide range of leadership expertise, and we couldn’t be happier with Alan’s election to our board,” Treanor said.

Doyle has nearly 30 years of experience in real estate finance, acquisitions and development, having worked for such institutions as Citibank, Fleet Bank (now Bank of America) and Traveler’s Realty Investment Company prior to forming New England Realty Investment Advisors in 1997. In 2002, he and partner Andrew Larew entered a joint venture with Boston-based Goedecke & Company to form its Rhode Island and Westport, Conn., offices. Last year, he and Larew formed Larew, Doyle & Associates, providing a full range of real estate investment banking services. The company has offices in Providence, Syracuse, N.Y., and Westport, Conn., to service the New York metropolitan area.

Doyle holds a bachelor of finance degree from Providence College and has completed the Executive MBA Program at the University of Rhode Island. He has coached numerous youth sports teams in Barrington, where he lives with his wife and two college-age children. He also has served on the board of the town’s Parks and Recreation Committee and St. John’s Episcopal Church’s governing vestry board.
