Spring Celebration of Remembrance: Sowing Seeds of Hope

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – March 11, 2009 ... Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, the largest hospice in the state and the third oldest in the country, is holding its annual Spring Celebration of Remembrance at two locations this year. Sowing Seeds of Hope will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 6:00 pm at the Narragansett Towers in Narragansett and on Sunday, April 26, 2009 at 4:00 pm at the Citizens Bank Rotunda in Providence.

The service is an annual event and gives people the opportunity to come together to remember, to reflect, to grieve, to support one another and to celebrate the lives of their loved ones. The program features reflective readings, music, a time for meditation and refreshments. It is free and open to the public regardless of whether hospice care was provided.

“Spring is a time of renewal and rebirth, a time for growth and a time for hope,” states Diana Franchitto, President & CEO of Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island. “We invite all those who have lost someone - whatever the circumstances have been –to join us as we embrace this new season and remember our loved ones.”
