Philanthropy Department Adds New Staff

Providence, RI –May 13, 2011… Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island (HHPCRI), Rhode Island’s leader in hospice and palliative care since 1976, has appointed Jackie Salett Orent Stewardship Coordinator at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island.

Jackie O“We are pleased to welcome Jackie to the Philanthropy Department at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island,” states Chuck Iacono, Vice President of Philanthropy. “I am confident that Jackie’s background in fundraising coupled with her strong community ties will enhance our fund-raising and friend-raising efforts.”

Among Jackie’s responsibilities as Stewardship Coordinator, are cultivating, soliciting and stewarding a portfolio of individual gift prospects at the $500 to $10,000 level and developing and implementing solicitation strategies for gift prospects. Additionally, she will prepare written proposals, informational materials, endowment agreements and other materials needed to secure gifts.

Prior to joining Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island, Jackie held positions at The Lincoln School as its Stewardship and Communications Manager, at The Jewish Federation of Rhode Island as a Development Officer and at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where she was the Assistant Director of Alumni Relations.

Jackie holds a BA in Communication Sciences from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. She resides in Pawtucket with her husband Jonathan.
